I spent two seasons at Leptiminus (Lamta) when I was a graduate student. Great site, nice kilns. My only comment on the post is to wonder why the project is using JPEG rather than a vectorized format.

Thanks for the comment on your blog. When did you work in Lamta? They are a lovely team of people to work with. Re: vector drawings. The profiles were created as vector illustrations, and then saved in multiple formats so various members of the team could open the files. Jpegs seemed the most democratic. All the best. J
